Accelerating CCUS Deployment by Connecting Policy, Industry, and Innovation
Introduction
We warmly invite you to join us in Trieste, Italy, on 14 October for the event “Accelerating CCUS Deployment by Connecting Policy, Industry, and Innovation.”
The event will bring together representatives from across the entire CCUS value chain, including industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology providers, to discuss the latest achievements, emerging opportunities, and remaining challenges for large-scale CCUS deployment across Europe.
Through a series of technical and strategic panel discussions, participants will explore how effective policy frameworks, regional CCUS strategies, technological innovation, and industrial collaboration can accelerate the development of a European CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure. The event will also provide valuable opportunities for networking and exchange between stakeholders working across different parts of the CCUS value chain.
In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to experience innovative CCUS technologies first-hand through two dedicated site visits. At Saipem, visitors will see an underwater drone equipped with CO₂ sensors in operation, demonstrating advanced technologies for subsea monitoring. At Gas Vessel Production, participants will be introduced to innovative high-pressure CO₂ cylinders designed to enable flexible, multimodal CO₂ transport.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you are already active in the CCUS sector or simply interested in learning more about its role in Europe’s energy and industrial transition.
